About Ruby Ruth Dolls

Welcome to the quirky realm of Ruby Ruth Dolls!

Inside the RRD's universe lives a group of distinctive doll characters of all shapes and sizes, with personalities as diverse as our own.

The dolls appeal to a broad age group, making them ideal for both gifting and cherished keepsakes. The mini-sized dolls are excellent as desk companions or travel buddies, while the medium size adds a playful touch to bookshelves, cosy chairs, and sofas. Larger dolls serve as charming additions to a bed or make a bold statement as delightful doorstops.

Ruby Ruth Dolls grew from a love of art and craft, storytelling and unusual characters. Their creator, Jenny Mustill, finds inspiration for her doll characters from her childhood, often basing them on friends and pets.

Jenny was first introduced to doll making by a friend while completing a fine art painting degree at Chelsea College of Art.

Doll making quickly embedded itself into her ongoing art practice, running parallel to painting and sculpture. This creative time laid the groundwork for the distinctive and imaginative nature of Ruby Ruth Dolls.

Following her graduation, Jenny has provided assistance to artists such as Damien Hirst and Helen Beard on artwork for private commissions and for exhibitions both in the UK and internationally. All the while simultaneously nurturing the growth of Ruby Ruth Dolls.

Ruby Ruth Dolls has established collaborations with brands such as Russell and Bromley, who featured one hundred and fifty of RRD's best selling black cat character, Jasper, in their stores for Halloween.

In 2019 a six meter long Ruby Ruth Doll was exhibited in a beautiful bookshop in Hangzhou, China, which stocked the dolls. Pictured below.

Ruby Ruth Dolls can now be found at a select group of stockists in the UK and Switzerland. For up to date news and details about craft fairs RRD’s will be available at during 2024 subscribe to our newsletter.
